It's a freaking warzone in Beijing. I haven't been able to sleep well lately coz of the damn fireworks. I was eager to buy myself some of the stuffs and ignite those suckers around 4 or 5 am in the morning. hehehe. MWUAHAHAHA!

I went out with my roommate to her friend's house and ended up having a really fabulous dinner. I was dreading that i would be stuck with some weird unknown people that night but it turned out that we were both the only people attending the dinner because Jillian got back late from her work and her roommates decided that they would skip the dinner and meet up with her later for drinks. The dinner was minimal but the booze were plenty. You see, Jillian work for Jenny Lou as their wine advisor so she gets to have this nice selection of wine every now and then and she told us that she would invite us to some wine tasting events for free- hah I never like wine before but that night surely changed me. Beside that, we also did acouple of shots with that korean shoju. I don't really know how many Ganbei, Banbei or Kebei we did before we decided it was time to head out but when i checked Nuria's text it was around 11 pm.
Ah, the events went on to like
-Jillian did a performance of her day at work... "Wei oui yesh madame, you sheez thiz wine is from the finezt vinezyardz in cheena" "Whatz itz taste like, madame? hmmm... woodsy? no? hmmm... grape! maybe?!" hahahaha i should have recorded it...
-Sydney managed to snort out some booze from her nose
-Discovered what each of our priority in life is based on the question of what business we like to pursue... Me: Loan Shark Sydney: Small travel agency Jillian: taking over Jenny Lou
-Jillian mistaken her friend for her dad on the phone.
It turned out that we skipped on going to BED, so we headed to Huxley to meet up with Jillian's friends, Benjamin and John- a another sucker who signed up with Worldlink - Martial Arts. Good time. After that we decided to go to BabyFace to finally meet up with the roommates and his friends (the crazy indonesians) aheh. wow my first hangout with commerades. Typically they were indo-chinese and i didn't fit in. blah.

Sydney and I agree that we should pimp up the apt alil. We will head to Merry Maridan (?) Beijing's IKEA.
I was supposed to meet up with Kyle today but his pengyou men and family wouldn't let him return to Beijing until tomorrow and he doesn't have anyway to get back since he is 3 hours away from Beijing. yikes! talk about kidnapping! So we will meet on wednesday to do some culture stuffs. It's good since this give me time to brush up with my chinese. I have to do this since Kyle told me that his chinese mom and co-workers invited me to come and join them for lunch and i don't want to be the idiot laowai at the table. I also managed to get a reply from Brandon- he will join us on our excursion around the city yay! so hopefully, everything works out .::finger crosses::.

I realize that I've been an asshole this week- I was often short with my friends (even to kyle) and got pissed easily. This sux. I need to change. I'm going to start it by being social and that's why I'm going to go to her house tonight.
-On happier note, today I took a nap on top of my fresh laundry. Happy SAM 8-)
-Mira beat me with the apartment cleaning. I was planning to clean the apartment today after class!!!! I don't know what I'm going to do now- clean the apartment again? 8-)? |

I'm going to chill around the house more often- especially during the weekend.
The birthday dinner went pretty well. I didn't expect additional people would show up since I only reserved for 6 people- 6 more showed up. The food was good and the only major complain that i have is the price - aigh. oh, and the misadvertisement- there weren't any dancers at all!!! Remember though, most important thing is everyone had a good time.
-Kyle was sweating because his food was too spicy- I admit even for me it was alil bit too much. However, he finished it- good boy.
-Steven being all worked up with my present. He was telling me, while we were @ the table that he has a gift for me but he decided against it... and then he changed his mind again... so i finally told him whhhaat?! come!! give it to me!! Heh, he gave me a dvd movie. heh. not just any movie though. heh. ain't going to mention this.
-I think I'm starting to like Bar Blu more than Kai. I don't know... i guess it must be because I can always get a table there in no time- thanks to one particular waiter. Mira, Joachin, Kyle and Abdul = Good time. hahaha we managed to get rid of Adnan.
-I explained to Mira about T and P rule of beijing lesbian community. She said if she had to follow the rule, she would be a T. niceeee. hahaha.
boooo didn't get any lapdance!! I'm not going to give up and joachin still owe me. Me+Nina+Joachin = strip joint zai nar!?!?!
Saturday:
-Went with my friend- adriana to Temple of Heaven.
-Survived the spanish inquisition night .aka so called family dinner. Diana made awesome pasta though.
-I agree with Adam... that place is a "S.A.D" home.
